Dr. Nigel Crutchley joined DDS as a Senior Scientist in 2007 from University of Leeds where he had just completed a PhD in the encapsulation of oils and oil soluble substances within polymer films. He works closely with Dr Lenon on the development and use of polymers. A graduate of Royal Holloway College with a degree in Biology Dr Crutchley previously worked for Disperse in 2001-2002 developing the technology before being seconded to Leeds to develop industrial applications. He is shown as co-inventor on a number of patents.
Dr. Fraser Steele joined DDS in 2005 as a Senior Scientist having previously worked as Research Fellow on applications of the technology at the Victorian College of Pharmacy, Monash University, Australia. Dr Steele was awarded a PhD by the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, University of Bath in Amine/ Microcrystalline Cellulose Interactions. He also holds a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from Loughborough University and a MPhil in Geological Sciences from Liverpool University. He is shown as co-inventor on a number of patents.
Michelle Georgiou joined DDS in 2005 as a Scientist and since 2006 as Senior Formulator where she works closely with Dr Steele on the development of new formulations. She was awarded a degree in Microbiology from the University of Surrey in 1990. She previously worked for Disperse between 2000 and 2004 where she was instrumental in the early development of the technology. She is shown as co-inventor on a number of patents.
